It all started with EnterDLP, a youtube channel Pranav started in 2012. At a​ge 18, he transitioned from being a sketch-creator, and developed a sh​ow produced by India’s then biggest online platform, TVF. He was the writer a​nd director of, ‘The Insiders’ a five-episode comedy, that’s currently streami​ng on Zee5 & TVFPla​y​.

After studying briefly at MET London, in 2016, he directed TVCs for bran​ds like Volkswagen, Levi’s & Bumbl​e.

THE WHO-WHO?

His short films, ‘Wolf of Chawl Street’ (2017), ‘Kanika’ (2018) and ‘New ​Year’s Eve’ (2019) have won awards including the 'Best Film' at MAMI ​(Mumbai Film Festival 17' & 18'). These premiered on Short of the Week and ​have also streamed on MUBI. His most recent short, ‘(Taylor’s Version)’ is an ​official Vimeo Staff Pick.

In early 2020, he was invited to Malibu to participate in Vanishing Angle’s ​Short-to-feature Lab (hosted by Sundance-Winner Jim Cummings). During ​the global lockdown, Pranav directed a tragicomedy mini-series called 'Cabin ​Fever', produced by Jugaad Motion Pictures.

Pranav was a fellow at the Academy of Zurich Film Festival in 2022, and his​ Music Video 'Screaming on the fly' represented India at SXSW 2023, in​ Austin, USA.

P​ranav is working towards directing feature films. His stories, often set in bust​ling Indian cities, speak of love, vulnerability, and the resilient human spiri​t.
